Jamiroquai are hoping to set a new world record – by performing the highest gig ever.
Jay Kay and his band aim to board a Boeing 757 and play a greatest hits set at an altitude of 35,000 feet.
Titled ‘Gig In The Sky’, the band will take off from Munich in Germany on February 27 and land at a secret location in Europe.
The fast car addict said in a statement: “No one has done a gig like this before. Rock n Roll is all about pushing the boundaries and ‘Gig In The Sky’ certainly does that.
Jamiroquai will be accompanied by a Guiness Book of Records official who will preside over the gig.
