Wilco have revealed they will be releasing their new album in May.
The album, titled ‘Sky Blue Sky’, gets its US release on May 15 through Nonesuch Records. It’s thought that it will get a similar European release date.
Band frontman Jeff Tweedy made the revelation while onstage at a solo show in Nashville on Wednesday night (January 17).
Tracks touted to appear on the album are the eponymous title track, ‘We Can Make It Better’, ‘On and On and On’, ‘Is That The Thanks I Get’ and Lullaby for Rafters and Dreams.’
The long-player will be the follow up to 2004’s ‘A Ghost Is Born.’
