King of Leon have unveiled their album title and release date.
The follow up to 2005’s ‘Aha Shake Heartbreak’ goes by the name of ‘Because of the Times’ and is released on April 2.
The long-player was produced by Ethan Johns and Angelo in two studios – Blackbird Studios in Nashville and Sunset Sound in Los Angeles.
It will be preceded by the single ‘On Call’ on March 26.
Speaking to the NME, frontman Caleb Followill said: “These songs are so much bigger, this band is so much better.
“There was a growth that some people thought they heard on ‘Aha Shake Heartbreak’ from ‘Youth and Young Manhood’, but there’s no comparison this time out.
“I think it’s pretty evident when people hear it.”
