A collection of the late-great Johnny Cash gospel recordings are set to be released in America this spring.
Legacy records will be releasing the legend’s album ‘Cash: Ultimate Gospel’ on March 6 in the US.
Gospel songs were often a staple of Cash’s live sets, with this collection featuring the likes of ‘He Turned Water Into Wine’, ‘Daddy Sang Bass’ and the Cash penned ‘The Preacher Said “Jesus Said.”’
A Legacy records spokesperson said the album is “the most in-depth collection of Cash’s gospel recordings ever assembled.”
