The judge at Pete Doherty’s latest court review today has praised the singer’s efforts in beating his drug addiction.
Attending a review in East London today, Doherty was told by District Judge Jane McIvor that she was “optimistic” over the singer’s progress.
She said: “This is more optimistic but we cannot take the pressure off. It takes day-to-day effort”.
Speaking outside the court Doherty was upbeat. He said: “It’s like she said, really it’s just time. For the first time I am actually turning up for appointments in a coherent state. For them, it’s a big step. It’s just a really positive time for me at the moment”
There are also strong rumors emerging that Pete Doherty is to marry his supermodel on-off girlfriend Kate Moss tomorrow. The couple apparently ‘wed’ on a Thai beach, though this has been denied.
Any excuse for another party eh?
