Queen Voted Greatest Band Of All Time

In a BBC poll held yesterday...

Queen have been voted the greatest band of all time in a poll of Radio 2 listeners.

Over 20,000 people gave in the name of their favourite band, with Queen eventually beating The Beatles to the crown by just 400 votes.

The rest of the top five was made up of The Rolling Stones at three, then Oasis in fourth, while Take That notched up the fifth place.

Amongst those who voted for Queen was pop band McFly who told show host Mark Goodier that Freddie Mercury and co. were an inspiration to them.
