More Scissor Sisters The Scissor Sisters have shown their benevolent side by donating a cut of their profits from their UK arena tour to 17 different charities.
The camp disco-pop outfit personally hand-picked the charities which were to receive proceeds from their sold-out shows.
As the Daily Record reports, one such beneficiary was the Simon Centre in Glasgow which offers support to the homeless.
The Centre received a £1,300 donation from the New Yorkers. Fundraising manager Sarah Hunter said: “Obviously we were over the moon that such a big band were using their influence to raise money.
“It will be enough to run the soup kitchen for a month.”
