Gigwise has learnt that Primal Scream are set to leave their record label Columbia in the new year.
Their album ‘Riot City Blues’ will be their last on the label before they move on to pastures new.
According to a source close to the band, the departure will by no means signal the end of the legendary outfit.
Several labels are thought to be interested in signing a new deal with the band.
Primal Scream recently wrapped up a triumphant UK tour which climaxed with two sold out nights at London’s Brixton Academy.
