The Knife and Klaxons have topped the Gigwise album and single of the year polls respectively.
Voted for by Gigwise staff and contributors, the electronic masterpiece that is ‘Silent Shout’ narrowly pipped CSS’s debut ‘Cansei de Ser Sexy’ to the albums top spot.
The more established acts of Muse and The Flaming Lips booked their place in the top five alongside Guillemots’ debut ‘Through The Windowpane.’
Klaxons’ ‘Atlantis To Interzone’ claimed the best single of the year ahead of Hot Chip’s electro-pop classic ‘Over and Over.’
Gossip, Gnarls Barkley, TV on the Radio and Jamie T all featured highly in the chart.
