Pete Doherty Slams Dirty Pretty Things

And says he misses Barat's high quality drugs...

Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty has claimed that the only thing he misses about his former best friend and Libertines band mate Carl Barat is the crack.

Doherty claims that Barat regularly used to sort him out with drugs despite the fact that he later kicked him out of the band for his wild ways.

Doherty is quoted as saying: "Do I miss him? He used to get me good crack. That'll do, 'innit? He's still really pissed off. But I know he's not like that. He's someone who likes drinking. That's the hypocrisy of it."

Doherty also dismissed Barat’s new band Dirty, Pretty Things as being crap, he said: "I paid the price. I got kicked out of the band. And with nothing, no sweat from anyone, we got it together with Babyshambles.

“We really got it. All he's got is the fact that he was in the best band and now he's in the worst band. And he needs to sort that out."

thats too harsh! i read an interview with carl at nme recently and he didnt say a bad word about pete! he even said hed be petes best man if he asked him. i personally like both bands but babyshambles a little more and loved the libertines it a shame when things turn sour.
