Velvet Underground Legend Producing New Ambulance Ltd Album

Legendary Velvet Underground guitarist John Cale is producing the next Ambulance Ltd album.

Cale has been in the studio with Ambulance Ltd. singer and now sole member Marcus Congleton for the past three months and so far the pair have come up with 18 tracks.

Track names flying around include ‘Paper Doll’, ‘Lady Fingers’ and ‘Beetles’ – track which Cale and Congleton wrote together.

As previously reported, the remaining members of Ambulance Ltd disbanded earlier in the year leaving Congleton to front the outfit alone.

Congleton hopes that the new Ambulance Ltd album will be released in summer 2007.
