The Rakes have unveiled the name for their eagerly anticipated second album.

The follow up to 'Capture/Release' is called ‘Ten New Messages’ and was recorded at London’s Mayfair studios with Jim Abbiss – of Arctic Monkeys and Kasabian fame.

The album is released in March to coincide with their lengthy nationwide jaunt, which takes in the following dates:

Nottingham Rock City - March 19
Glasgow Barrowlands - 21
Sheffield Octagon - 22
Norwich UEA - 23
Manchester Ritz - 25
Newcastle Academy - 26
Birmingham Academy - 28
Bristol Academy - 29
Southampton Guildhall - 30
London Brixton Academy – 31
