Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy page has become the first artist to leave his handprints in London’s Piccadilly sidewalk.
Page left his prints on the street, destined to become to become the equivalent of Hollywood’s ‘Walk Of Fame’, yesterday (August 23).
"It's a real privilege and a great honour to be the first person to be immortalised this way," said 60-year-old Page.
"The Walk of Fame is a fantastic idea and it's about time that we had one in London," he added.
"There are so many musicians who deserve this honour that if we started to count them all we could cover the whole city of London," he said.
