Liam Gallagher has revealed his brother Noel vetoed his idea for Oasis to perform on X Factor.
The singer is a big fan of the reality TV talent show and wanted his band to feature as guest artists on the programme – but his elder brother kyboshed the idea.
Liam says, “We should have done it. The contestants would have been singing Oasis songs. I would have loved that. If Tony Bennett can go on, why can't we?
"We'd have made it to number one in the album charts without a doubt, but our kid said no and that was that."
