Under-16s Band Supporting Kasabian And Kooks

A new under-16s band from Twickenham will support Kasabian and The Kooks after winning the ‘Best School Rock Band’ competition.

The Attics triumphed over 150 other bands in radio station XFM’s competition to find a new band to play their Winter Wonderland show next Saturday.

After impressing a panel of judges including ex-Ash guitarist Charlotte Hatherly and Glastonbury organisor Emily Eavis at an early morning gig, the band will now play with The Kooks, The Feeling and Kasabian, as well as bagging a grand’s worth of musical equipment for their school.
