Black Eyed Peas and Scissor Sisters have announced ambitious plans to play five gigs in five different countries this New Year’s Eve.
The bands will criss-cross the globe, playing in Hong Kong and Mumbai, India before the Scissor Sisters headline at the Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate, whilst the Black Eyed Peas head for Inanema Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The final gig, which will also be available on-line as part of Nokia’s Five Cities One Party broadcast, will then take place in New York.
Black Eyed Peas’ Will.I.Am says, “It's great to take part in this event because one we love Brazil, two because we'll be in Brazil, three because Brazil is a great place to bring in the New Year, four because Brazil's scenery is beautiful and five its the New Year."
