Idlewild have confirmed the details of their return which will see them release a new album in February.
Entitled ‘Make Another World’ the long player is the follow up to 2005’s ‘Warnings/Promises’ and is the first record with new bassist Gareth Russell.
The album will be released by the bands new label Sequel and is said to show a return “return to the bands rock (ish) roots, whilst retaining their fiercely melodic side and talent for supremely catchy hooks.”
The single ‘If It Takes You Home’ will precede it on a limited edition 750 copy run of one sided 7” vinyl.
The single will also be available to download for free for the duration of the bands upcoming sold out club tour via their official website.
