Chris Martin played a surprise solo show last night taking to the stage for the latest Mencap gig at London’s Union Chapel.
Martin sang four songs including a covers of The Killers ‘When You Were Young’ and Bob Dylan’s ‘Buckets Of Rain’ plus a new Coldplay track entitled ‘Bucket For A Crown’.
Speaking about the new song he said: "If it's shit we'll give it to The Killers and if it's good, we'll keep it."
The night also saw sets from Lily Allen, The Automatic and James Morrisson.
