Eagles Of Death Metal have quit their fifteen date support slot with Gun n’ Roses after a run in with the audience and Axl Rose at the first gig.
The band walked out on the US tour following Friday’s show in Cleveland where they were booed by the audience.
Then during GNR’s headline set Axl Rose referred to the band as “The Pigeons of Shit Metal” and that seemingly was the straw that broke the camels back.
In a statement referring to the walkout EODM singer Jesse Hughes said: "At first the audience refused to welcome us to the jungle, but by the time we took our final bow, it had become paradise city.”
“Although Axl tried to November rain on our parade, no sweet child o' mine can derail the EODM night train. We say live and let die."
Eagles of Death Metal are now set to head out on their own tour while GNR are still looking for a band to fill their shoes.
