Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds Ready Live DVD

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds are set to release a new live DVD this coming January.

Titled ‘The Abattoir Blues Tour’ the live discs features tracks from their Abattoir Blues / The Lyre of Orpheus tour plus all the old classics.

The first disc was recorded at the second of their three night residency at London’s Brixton Academy in autumn 2004.

A second DVD features snippets  from their Hammersmith Apollo show in June 2003 on their ‘Nocturama’ tour.

The package also comes backed with some obligatory extras including footage of their promo videos and a short film.

As well as the limited edition deluxe DVD package, the album is also available as a double CD. Both are release on January 29.
