A tense and brooding track taken from Cyann & Ben’s album ‘Sweet Beliefs’. The song opens with an almost traditional folk-sounding lament; a delicate choral harmonising which simultaneously gives the impression of an innocence and a simplicity but which is overshadowed by a strange menace. There is no verse or chorus to speak of and instead the song feels as if it is falling down a cold stone spiral staircase lit by the moon in a hunted castle. Picking up all manner of shadows and electronic melodies, and gaining momentum as it falls crashing to the bottom. Theatrical and stunning.
