Ah! Delightful music from Sweden’s original odd couple, Koop. With a beautiful soul voice, poppy jazz background, steel pan drums, hand-bells, snare drum, cymbal, trumpets and gorgeous double bass this song really is infectious. At times this sounding Christmas-y (possibly due to the bells) but would also be a perfect summer anthem for chilling out in the garden with friends. It swings; it flows and incorporates elements of big band, in places it reminds of The Arcade Fire but this is fleeting and it’s nigh impossible to think of any immediate comparisons. Absolutely gorgeous.
