To mark the fifth anniversary of his death, a George Harrison guitar is set to go under the hammer in London later this month.
The 1963 guitar is expected to fetch around £100,000 when it’s sold at Cooper Owen’s Music Legends auction at Air Studios on November 30.
The Maton- MS 500 guitar dates from the time of the Fab Four’s debut album ‘Please, Please Me.’
It’s part of a series of lots up for sale at the auction. Other items include a jacket made for John Lennon by Chris Jagger, a rare Sex Pistols poster and a fully signed copy of Sgt Pepper.
