The burgeoning ‘chip-music’ scene has put together a new compilation album of 8-bit Kraftwerk covers.
The electronica pioneers have given their blessing to the ‘Astralwerks’ album, which features the leading lights from the scene in North and South America and Europe – including our very own David E Sugar, who lends 'Radioactivity' to proceedings.
Described as a “labor of love, many years in the making… arranged primarily on Lo-bit microchip & handheld controlled synthesizers”, the album will be available from 6 February.
