If you're going to Machester's Night & Day cafe tonight to see The Sugars, don't bother - they've pulled out.
The band state on their MySpace site that they're very sorry, and point out it's the first time they've ever pulled out from a gig - but don't give the reason for the last minute cancellation.
However, shiny Toy Guns and the rather good Early Years will still be performing at the XFM live night, and the lovely Xposure presenter John Kennedy - who was kind enough to give your correspondent a shout out this week - shall be hosting.
