Yoko Ono has drafted in the help of some of the finest artists in the indie scene for a covers album.
John Lennon’s widow has invited a host of acts to rework her own songs in some way for the fetchingly titled collection ‘Yes, I’m A Witch.’
Amongst the artists who have contributed are Cat Power, The Flaming Lips, The Polyphonic Spree and Spiritualized’s Jason Pierce.
The collection of remixes, covers and duets is due out in February Stateside through Astralworks. As Pitchfork reports the label hope to release a dance remix album of Yoko Ono songs a month later.
