A brand new song by Franz Ferdinand is set to feature on an upcoming movie soundtrack.
The track, ‘Hallam Foe Dandelion Blow’, will feature on the David Mackenzie directed film ‘Hallam Foe.’
The song was recorded during the Scottish four piece’s Latin American tour and has been influenced by this experience, sounding like a ‘lyrical drunken waltz.’
Also featuring on the soundtrack are other Domino records artists Sons & Daughters, Psapp and Kieren Hebden.
The movie focuses on the life of a teenager called Hallam (Jamie Bell) who descends into a voyeuristic lifestyle after the suicide of his mother.
The film opens on February 7 next year.
