It’s been a struggle for the Gang. Famed for their frequent use of sexual innuendo in 1994 the Bloodhound Gang signed to Cheese factory records, and released ‘Dingleberry Haze’ which sold over one hundred copies. Not put off by poor sales they signed to Columbia records in 1995 to release the interestingly titled ‘Use your fingers.’ Again their record flopped and they were dropped by Columbia.
Their fortunes changed in 1996 after the completion of a European tour the group released ‘Fire Water Burn’ which became the most requested song on alternative radio. Since the release of that record the band have had continued success, performing alongside artists such as Aerosmith, Blur and the Chemical Brothers.
