Rapper TI won big at the first Black Entertainment Television (BET) Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta.
The star was nominated for eight awards, but eventually walked home with the best CD and Video for ‘What You Know.’
Upon picking up his award at the November 11 ceremony, TI said: “You can't hate on hard work and talent. This awards show will show people a lot about where I come from."
Grandmaster Flash was also honoured on the night, receiving the I AM Hip Hop Icon award. He said: "To get an award for my technological ability means a whole lot more than anything else I've accomplished in my life."
Other winners on the night included P Diddy and Jay-Z, while Sway was voted the best UK act.
The awards will be aired stateside on November 15.
