As it happens Softlightes aren’t far removed from that much maligned, quite possibly made-up genre; ‘Girlkillsbear’ shares a quiet prettiness with The Postal Service, its’ glitchy electronica backdrop sounding like Four Tet on a particularly good day. To paraphrase their album title: Say Yes To Being Happy, Say Yes To Softlightes.
