A new documentary about the Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty and his son Astille is to be screened on BBC2 this weekend.
In the documentary Doherty is shown playing and singing to his son before he was banned from spending any time with his.
Astille's mother, Lisa Moorish ( who also has a young daughter with Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher) told Doherty: "Get clean. It will all change. Everything we're talking about will change. It's really that simple."
Moorish made the decision to ban Doherty from their son after it became crystal clear that his drug habit was spiralling out of control; however in the new documentary Father and son are seen happily playing and wrestling together.
Doherty has vowed to dump the drugs for the sake of his little boy, who is the spitting image of his father, he said: "When I claim to have any sort of control over my own life, I'm going to take some responsibility for Astille. I love the little fella. I need to buck up my ideas there."
