Prolific Liverpool singer/songwriters The Real People are to play a charity gig to mark the one year anniversary of the death of musician Paul Bowness.
The gig is being backed by Liam Gallagher, Paul Weller and Ocean Colour Scene and is set to take place at Liverpool’s Carling Academy on November 18.
Other bands set to appear are The Sums, The Same, Holden and Kuki.
‘Music was one of the most important things in Paul’s life and this is the way we want to remember him and celebrate what a fantastic musician and person he was.”
“We will be celebrating his life and would appreciate any support for this gig,’ said Tony Griffiths of the Real People.
Tickets are on sale now and cost £6.50.
