More Info: Example’s first track for Mike Skinners The Beats label 'What We Made' is a song about mankind’s seemingly never-ending desire to self-destruct. Whilst the song has obvious undertones of the human race’s experimentation with bomb making and the obsession with a particular nation’s neighbouring country, at no point in the song is the finger of responsibility pointed at any particular nation or religion. Example simply assumes the role of a diplomat offering a history lesson that can be understood from every side of the warring world. | |
