




MSTRKRFT seem to be riding high on the fashionable electronica wave that bands like Hot Chip have been helping to get in vogue. Unfortunately, although it has an inventive basS track, the vocal mix is just repetitive and irritating. The single will undoubtedly be popular with pillheads looking for a cheap thrill, but for the average listener it’s a challenge just to get to the end. It’s a shame, as one half of MSTRKRFT, Jesse Keller, created some amazing tunes with the now defunct Death From Above 1979. If only he had stuck with that.
