The band tentatively known as The Good, The Bad & The Queen played only their second live gig, at the BBC Electric Proms last night.
Damon Albarn, Paul Simonon, Simon Tong and Tony Allen played a well received set at The Roadhouse in Camden.
It follows their highly intimate pub show at the Pig’s Nose in Devon last weekend.
Support came from Jamie T who told BBC6music that it was quite a daunting experience.
He said: “It was lovely to play a venue so big. I think that's the one impression the whole band took from it. Un-nerving but at the same time a great experience."
Elsewhere on the night, Jet performed a version of Kasabian’s ‘Reason Is Treason’ at their Barfly show, while The Raconteurs performed The Undertones classic ‘Teenage Kicks’ in tribute to John Peel at the Electric Ballroom.
The BBC Electric Proms continues tonight with the likes of James Brown and The Zutons playing live.
