Organisers of Lollapalooza have confirmed that the festival will stay in Chicago until at least 2011.
This year’s event which saw the extravaganza take up residence in the windy city’s Grant Park for two days.
Organisers have also announced that the 2007 event will take place over the weekend of August 3-5.
This year’s festival saw performances from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kanye West, The Raconteurs and The Flaming Lips.
