Foxy Brown has been sentenced to three years probation for assaulting two New York nail salon employees.
The rapper punched and kicked the employees when a dispute arose over the charges for her beauty treatment in August 2004.
Brown – real name Inga Marchand – had pleaded guilty to the offence in August but tried to withdraw her plea claiming that she had been rushed into the decision.
She claimed in court yesterday that her previous lawyer had told her that she would face jail if she didn’t admit her guilt.
However, the judge ruled that the original plea was still valid.
