The View look likely to chart highly with their new single ‘Superstar Tradesman.’
The track is already in the top ten in the midweek sales chart, but like many indie songs may drop slightly as the week progresses.
It’s the follow up to ‘Wasted Little DJs’ which entered at number 15.
Over in the album chart Robbie Williams is certain to score his eighth number one with ‘Rudebox.’
When he makes number one, he will match David Bowie’s record for chart toppers by a British Male solo artist.
However, despite its lofty chart position, ‘Rudebox’ looks set to sell a mere 200,000 copies compared to the 373,000 units that his last LP ‘Intensive Care’ shifted.
