Albert Hammond Jr has said that he is planning to release a second sol album and that The Strokes will start work a new long player next year.
Hammond Jr recently released his debut solo effort ‘Yours To Keep’ but says there is more to come.
He told the NME: "I'm definitely planning on writing and making another (solo album). But if no one wants to hear my songs, I can't really make a record."
And he says that any new material he plans on writing won’t appear on the Strokes record be wants them for his second album.
Going on to speak about The Strokes fourth studio album he added that it’ll probably be recorded next year.
"Probably spring next year we'll go into the studio, but there's no set date," he revealed.
