Mansun are calling for fans to decide the tracklisting of the ‘Kleptomania’, the band’s ‘lost’ fourth album's second CD.
As previously reported, the album was ready for release at the time of the bands split in 2002, and now, a petition from over 2000 fans sent to the record label has ensured its release.
A message on the band’s website reads: “You can now vote, rating your opinion of each of the 52 non-album tracks that the band released in their eight year career, right the way from classics 'Take It Easy Chicken' and 'Skin Up Pin Up', up to songs from their last single 'Fool', with live favourites 'Everyone Must Win', 'Ski Jump Nose' and many many more. There are links on the poll page to online soundclips of each of the tracks should you need your memory jogging.”
The poll will run until July 14, were the marks will be collated and the tracklisting confirmed based upon the results.
‘Kleptomania’ will be released on September 27.
