Les Incompetents frontman Billy Leeson has spoken out about the attack which left him in a coma.
The singer was punched in the jaw while on the way home on a Saturday night in June, which caused him to fall to the floor and crack his head.
Leeson was speaking to 6music just days after 30-year-old Christian Briggs of Haringey pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm.
The singer says that the attack left him with memory loss including the entire four days before the incident.
He said: "It was on the bus home with my girlfriend, and he (Briggs) was kind of being a bit lary to my girlfriend. We got off the bus and then he followed us, even though that wasn't his stop.
"Then he kind of came towards me and my girlfriend stood in front of me. Then he kind of hit me and I hit the ground and was in a coma instantly."
Speaking about coming round from his coma, he continued: "I was quite rude to a lot of people apparently and I thought I was being tortured so I yanked everything that was in me, like stuff to help me breathe.”
