Public Enemy’s Flavor Flav is set to release his debut solo album next month and he says it will be he only one, ever.
The album which is self titled will be release on October 31 in the US, no UK or Europe release has yet been confirmed, via Draytown Records.
He told Billboard: "This is my first and only album ever because I want it to be a collector's item. I always wanted to do a solo album but coming up through the years there's been a lot of obstacles in my way that have stopped me from being able to do so."
The record features only one collaboration, something Flav planned. "This is the way I want people to perceive me so I don't have (any) collaborations."
The lead single will be the track ‘Flavor Man’is the rappers favourite track on the whole record and features him playing live instruments as well as doing lead and backing vocals.
Flav plans to do a solo tour before he moves on to write a book and a new Public Enemy album which is in the pipeline.
