Kasabian, Hot Chip and Scissor Sisters are amongst the artist set to appear at Oxjam over the next month.
The extravaganza kicks off this weekend, with over 1,000 events happening across the UK raising money for Oxfam.
Other artists set to appear over the coming month are De Le Soul, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, Guillemots and Embrace.
Kasabian have formed a novelty string quartet for the events, explaining: “We picked up our violins because we wanted to try something new to support Oxjam, and we'd encourage everyone to do the same.
”Even if you've never got involved with music before, now is the perfect time to join thousands of people across the country in making some noise and fighting poverty at the same time."
As well as the concerts, there’s also lots of fun planned, including a 24-hour buskathon held in ten cities across the country, a karaoke record attempt in Manchester and celebrity DJs across the land.
