No. Sorry. Still don’t get it. Having critically perused their last single and accused it of sounding like Mark Knoffler and Jimmy Nail’s Auf Wiedersehen Pet’s theme tune, we were still willing to give the Archie’s a second chance. They are signed to Domino after all, and some people have said some nice things about them. But whilst 'Cherry Lips' must sound like a bombastically ballsy blues record to some, it plays too much like an ‘impassioned’ Dire Straits to our humble ears.
