Mercury Rev To Release New Album

Mercury Rev are the latest act to release a ‘Back To Mine’ compilation album of their favourite tracks.

The seminal band’s collection hits the shelves on October 23 and features an array of influential artists and some high profile acts.

Amongst those appearing on the compilation include Spacemen 3, John Cale, David Bowie, Alex Chilton and Suicide.

The album features a Mercury Rev track called ‘Cecilia’s Lunar Expose’ which is exclusive to this release.

Mercury Rev follow in the footsteps of Liam Howlett, Babyshambles, Underworld and New Order who have all made ‘Back To Mine’ albums.

Their ‘best of’ album ‘The Essential Mercury Rev’ is released on October 2.
