Like an all male Magic Numbers, the The Butterflies of Love have a very 60’s Summer of Love feel. Their catchy, laid back approach managed to attract the attentions of John Peel on their debut, three years later they are back on the scene. Dusky vocals float though the air, as the jaunty country guitars of ‘Orbit Around You’ gain momentum. ‘In A Blizzard In A Lighthouse’ has a more psychedelic quality, that’s softly downbeat. It might not set the world alight, but this is gently heartwarming stuff.
