PJ Harvey is set to pay homage to John Peel by releasing an album of songs she recorded on his shows over a 14 year period.
Peel was an avid advocate of Harvey’s, supporting the acclaimed songstress from her early days.
The 12 track album includes songs from BBC sessions between the years of 1991-2004.
The release coincides with the second anniversary of Peel’s untimely death. Other acts set to release Peel Sessions albums include Pulp, House of Love and Siouxsie and the Banshees.
PJ Harvey’s album is released on October 23 and contains the following tracks:
Oh My Lover
Victory
Sheela-Na-Gig
Water
Naked Cousin
Wang Dang Doodle
Losing Ground
Snake
That Was My Veil
This Wicked Tongue
