The Pete Doherty and Carl Barat charity collaboration has finally been given a release date.
The pair are amongst 21 artists appearing on a version of The Clash’s ‘Janie Jones’ – with all proceeds going to the late Joe Strummer’s charity Strummerville.
The record, by ‘Babyshambles & Friends’, will hit the shops on October 30.
Also appearing on it are the likes of the Guillemots, The Kooks, We Are Scientists and Mystery Jets.
Despite both appearing on the record, Pete and Carl’s parts were both recorded separately.
Drew McConnell from Babyshambles pieced the record together with a little help from Statik.
