The Who are set to receive a lifetime achievement award next month for their live shows.
The legendary four piece will be honoured at the first ever Live Music Awards next month in London.
In the tour of the year category the nominations include Take That, Oasis and Arctic Monkeys while Coldplay, Kaiser Chiefs and Muse are up for best live act.
Also in the running for awards are Scissor Sisters, U2, The Killers and Foo Fighters for best international live act.
The ceremony will take place at London’s Roundhouse on October 11 with ten categories being decided in total.
The Who are currently playing their first world tour in 20 years.
