The American frontman – currently number one with I Don’t Feel Like Dancing – fell for Wayne Rooney after seeing the pugnacious forward appear on billboards during this summer’s World Cup.

Shears gushes to The Sun, “I think Wayne Rooney is totally hot - he’s so sexy.
